I almost never write Yelp reviews, but I was so impressed with the service that I received here, that I felt compelled to take the time to write this. The automatic transmission of my '98 Ford Ranger had a catastrophic failure on my way to work, completely without notice. I limped into Western Brake and Tire, as it is within a block of my work, and I had used them once before for a brake problem diagnoses and repair, which they performed to my complete satisfaction. Sure enough, the transmission was in a bad way, at 201,000 miles and in need of a rebuild or replacement (does Ford program it that way?). Joe, Paul and their excellent crew told me what my options were, and I decided to go with a re-manufactured transmission that came with a 3-year, 100K mile warranty from the manufacturer (the most expensive option, but I consider it worth it, as I plan on keeping the vehicle). Despite the fact that the transmission was shipped from Indiana, they had me back on the road within a week. Not completely unexpected considering how major and complex a job this was, I had to return a week after the replacement for a slight adjustment to one of the electronic sensors on the transmission, which they performed at no cost in under 3 hours. I am sold on these guys. They know their stuff and get the job done quickly, efficiently, and with a smile. Don't let the name "Brake and Tire" fool you. They have the knowledge and skill to diagnose and repair any automotive problem, no matter how big or complex. I will definitely be returning to them again and again for all my auto repair needs.

Got a brake job last month, quick service and a more than fair price. Muck less than a dealer. Service with a smile.

I was way out of my neighborhood when I picked up some object that slashed my tire. I needed a new tire and these guys ( Michael) found it for me in a couple of hours and had me back on the road to return home. They were great! Really appreciated their service!!

Both brake light were out, so this was kind of an an emergency! Being a girl, the assumption is plan to get looted at a mechanic shop. However I was pleasantly surprised! I called on a Saturday an hour before closing and the gentleman who answered the phone explained there always is the chance they might have to order the lights, but they will try. My lucky day they had the bulbs an I was offered coffee while I waited. It wasn't much of a wait it was done in five to ten minutes. I didn't even have the chance to finish my coffee. They gave me the best early Christmas gift ever, SAFETY. A truly wonderful experience. It's good to know that there are such kind people out there.

I am usually suspicious of car repair locations because it feels like they are also trying to upsell to make more profit. The people here, from what I see, are honest about what work needs to get done and get it done fast.

Honest! True class act Have had a burning smell in car for a while and took to Jiffy Lube to check, nothing wrong Took here today thinking I needed new brakes and all that jazz and apparently it was just some plastic melting that I had picked up whilst driving. Expected to pay and arm and leg for repairs. Will certainly return when I need servicing in future.

Can't say enough great things about these guys! I feel like they always give me a fair price (plus I get a bit of a Cast Member discount, which is awesome). They're honest about what work they think is necessary and what work can wait until the next visit. I was there twice in the last week; my visit today only lasted 10 minutes and was a quick fix so they didn't charge me, which I thought was very nice of them. Will definitely keep coming back to these guys for future car issues.

I was just ready to buy all four tires because I want the entire package when it comes to replacing tires. On a road trip I got a screw in my tire. Good Year patched it and I was off! Under $25.00. Why am I surprised I didn't need new tires? Because my very own dealership tried to sell me new tires before I left...with a medium to hard sell tactic. But I wasn't quite on board with the pitch. Listen to your instincts and know your cars ladies! ....and gents! These guys made my day and we're super cheerful and it was hot. You guys rock!!!

This place is awesome, highly recommend!! I was in Anaheim early, driving in from out of town. I had a tire pressure warning light come on, very unexpected. Tires looked OK but I did not want to take any chances. I found this shop, and was there at shop opening - they were able to get me right in, checked the tires, and I was out in less than 15 minutes. Great customer service!!! If I lived in the area, this would be my tire shop. I am in Anaheim several times a year and am happy to have found them should I happen to need tire services in that area in the future.
